Pam Porter began showing dogs in 1972 and is today a devoted Crested fan. She wrote a column covering TX, OK, AR, and KS for the Great Dane Reporter, doing it the old fashioned way, by snail mail. During that time she says she "dabbled in photography" and raised a family. She has lived in Italy and Germany but loves the USA.

Pam is now retired, which allowed her more time to enjoy her grandchildren and to rejuvenate her love for showing and photography. About showing, she says “it’s not how much you win but the friends you make” and as an official ShowShots Reporter who “focuses” on the people as well as the dogs, Pam will be making even more friends.
