Julie Borst Reed
Born in Pennsylvania, now residing in the San Diego region, Julie is a fourth-generation fancier, continuously involved in the sport since
starting out in Junior Showmanship in
the Seventies. She is licensed for AKC Jr Showmanship and enjoys judging
sweepstakes for many breeds.
She and her
husband Kirk Reed, raise and show Standard Poodles under the Tiara banner
and are members of many dog
clubs in the USA.
Tiara is celebrating over 30 years in Standard Poodles.
Tiara
was co-breeder of the Number One Poodle (all varieties) in AKC (1996), the
producer of dozens of AKC champions, as well as many titlists in agility
and obedience. Tiara has finished dozens of Standard
Poodle Champions and Grand Champions in UKC, as well as titling in
other events such as weight pull.
Diversity of
pedigree with greatest longevity achieved in a very stable,
handsome package are the goals for the well-balanced Standard Poodles of Tiara.
Currently, there are over
thirty CHIC designated Standard Poodles bred by Tiara. Additionally, the Reeds are
working on producing the blackest of black coats and beautiful natural tails
for the icing on the cake when all the basic criteria are in place.
